By using GreenBytes' GB-X Series storage appliances in combination with Symantec OST, users will be able to fully enjoy the integrated deduplication capabilities of the GB-X Series along with the performance, scalability and ease-of-use that GreenBytes' appliances offer, providing a complete storage solution designed to deliver the lowest TCO and highest ROI for the small and medium-sized business (SMB) market.
GreenBytes and Symantec customers benefit from the OST integration by utilizing Backup Exec, which provides a single point of management for all data protection operations. GB-X Series appliances are completely administered from Microsoft Management Console (MMC) using custom plug-ins to enable simple administration of even the most complex data storage scenarios.
