Minister Ambrose Announces Appointment to Defence Construction Canada Board of Directors

(firmenpresse) - GATINEAU, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 12/08/11 -- The Honourable Rona Ambrose, Minister of Public Works and Government Services and Minister for Status of Women, announced today the appointment of Paul G. Cataford to the board of directors of Defence Construction Canada.

"Mr. Cataford's extensive experience in investing, technology, governance, and business development will be a tremendous asset to the organization."

Mr. Cataford has acquired his experience through more than 15 years in the venture capital and private equity industry. He is currently the President and CEO of Zephyr Sleep Technologies Inc. and sits on a number of public, private, and not-for-profit boards and committees. Mr. Cataford obtained a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Queen's University, and a Master of Business Administration from York University's Schulich School of Business. He also completed the Directors Education Program at the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Defence Construction Canada is a federal Crown corporation that reports to Parliament through the Minister of Public Works and Government Services. The corporation provides innovative and cost-effective contracting, construction management and other infrastructure and environmental services to National Defence and the Canadian Forces.
