Grid2Home Releases G2H-SE2 Software Solution for Smart Energy 2.0

(firmenpresse) - SAN DIEGO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 12/08/11 -- , developer of Smart Energy Profile 2.0 (SEP-2) communication technologies, today announced the availability of the beta release of its G2H-SE2 Software, which can be fully customized for any platform. An evaluation kit will be available to order in January.

The , which supports multiple applications, including electric vehicles, appliances, thermostats and load and energy sources, is interoperable across a wide range of devices, and has been ported to multiple hardware platforms and physical layers including Wi-Fi, ZigBee and various PLC variants.

The G2H-EVAL evaluation kit is a complete two-node solution and will come bundled with G2H-SE2 Software, two hardware platforms and the PC based G2H-Test Tool. Sample applications for both a client and a server are provided together with a development guide.
