Platinum Studios Appoints New President
(firmenpresse) - LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 12/09/11 -- Platinum Studios' (OTCBB: PDOS) Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of John P. Rutledge as the corporation's President, effective January 17, 2012. Mr. Rutledge will handle certain of the corporation's day-to-day operations, including building and maintaining relationships with shareholders, content creators, licensees and consultants.
Mr. Rutledge serves as President of Rutledge Law Center Ltd., a firm that counsels clients in a broad range of business and corporate, real estate, and intellectual property law matters. Mr. Rutledge has in his career served as exclusive transactional counsel for a billion-dollar land portfolio and represented a foreign nation-state in its negotiations for the television reality series "SURVIVOR: Palau." He also has done in-depth legal work for, and helped to protect and enforce the intellectual property rights of, high-profile musicians and several of the world's largest software companies.
Rutledge Law Center Ltd. has acted as legal counsel to Platinum Studios, Inc. since June 2011.
