JD Sports Announce Charity Link Up With 'The Christie' and Invite You to Join Team JD.
(firmenpresse) - MANCHESTER, UNITED KINGDOM -- (Marketwire) -- 12/13/11 -- is pleased to announce a three year commitment to The Christie Hospital to help raise GBP 500,000 for the teenage cancer unit. The fundraising begins with an invite to join Team JD and run the BUPA Great Manchester Run 2012. We invite all levels of participant to join us in the race, whether you want to walk round the 10km circuit or try and keep up with the elite runners, all of JD is welcome, just try to be in the pub by lunchtime.
The BUPA Great Manchester Run takes place next year on Sunday May 20th, and will allow you to compete in one of the largest participated runs in the UK and Ireland. Join 35,000 other runners from all over the country and run the 10km circuit that will see you start in the City Centre, and run out to Home of Manchester United, Old Trafford before returning to the City Centre via the Salford Quays area, new home to the BBC.
Simply text the word 'RUN' with your name and branch number to '60777', if you are a member of head office simply text your name and department. JD will cover the cost of your entry and contribute toward travel expenses, all we ask is that each participant can raise over GBP 200 for The Christie. Hurry though; we need all interested parties to text your interest before the 21ST December 2011.
