Actress and Producer Elizabeth Karr to Play Lead in "As I Like It"

Karr boldly depicts the wildly entertaining personality of Amanda Eliasch, tackling the role with fearless enthusiasm. The play will run at the Macha Theatre in West Hollywood from December 29, 2011 through January 15, 2012.
"" is a personal memoir exploring the complex nature of the social and literary world of Britain's elite artist, playwright and fashionista, Amanda Eliasch. Karr brings her acting expertise to "" taking audiences on a journey of the glamorous renegade's story of self-discovery and personal growth.
Elizabeth Karr has been a film and TV actress for over 20 years, with television appearances on "Women's Murder Club," "House," "ER," "Veronica Mars," "Sleeper Cell," "The West Wing," and "The Young and the Restless." She has also produced numerous critically acclaimed theatrical productions in LA and New York, including "Uncle Vanya," "An Ideal Husband As Victorian Noir," "Big Love," "The A Train Plays LA" and "A Woman Of No Importance." She is also one of the founders and producers of both the Classical Theatre Lab and West Hollywood's annual "Shakespeare In The Park."
Karr was the consulting producer of the Disney Channel's pilot, "Webgirl," and is currently a co-producer on an adaptation of a Philip K. Dick novel, "Radio Free Albemuth," written and directed by John Alan Simon, which received a rave review in Variety.
