Founding Partner Douglas DeGrave Awarded OC Trial Lawyer of the Year
The American Board of Trial Advocates Honors Douglas M. DeGrave, Esq. of Poliquin & DeGrave LLP

DeGrave, Esq., a Founding Partner of Poliquin & DeGrave LLP in Laguna Hills, CA, was named OC Trial Lawyer of the Year by the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 during ABOTA's Annual Holiday Dinner in Newport Beach.
DeGrave, 57, of Villa Park, is a Past President of the Orange County Chapter of ABOTA, and currently serves as the President-Elect of Cal-ABOTA and as a member of the ABOTA national board of directors.
Notable case wins that earned DeGrave this honor include back-to-back road rage cases defensed by DeGrave this fall:
Zafaranchi, Seyed; Jashiti, Mina vs. Gonzalez, Jose Roberto; King Cabinet Manufacturing Company (September 2011), and
Cervantes, Jose Luis and Cervantes, Maria Elena; Meza, Cesar and Vasquez, Oscar vs. Land Logistics and Olds, William (October 2011).
Both were jury trial cases with defense verdicts.
