NEXT ALTERNATIVE EXPECTS FORTHCOMING RESOLUTION IN AUDIT DELAY
(Ottawa, Ontario) Robert Ireland, CEO of Next Alternative, Inc.
(XETRA-N4H), has announced that the company is currently awaiting results
of a Federal Government Review before posting its audited statements.
As recent changes in Government programs have been made, NAI is awaiting a
decision as to whether its Scientific Research and Development expenditures
are valid under the new rules. This could result in a significant swing one
way or another as far as where the company stands fiscally.
According to Ireland, 'We are hopeful that our capital expenditures will
fall under the new guidelines and that we will be able to continue with our
planned programs going forward.' He continued by saying, 'While this could
have a major affect on operations, we are confident that we can alter our
course as needed and adjust to the new procedures.' NAI expects to receive
the results in a few weeks and will post them promptly thereafter.
