Extension of Closing Date
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/30/12 -- Riverstone Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE: RVS)(OTCQX: RVREF)(FRANKFURT: 3RV) ("Riverstone") announces that it has agreed to the request from Golden Star Resources Inc. ("Golden Star") to extend by one week the closing date of the option exercise by Riverstone to acquire an indirect 90% interest in the Goulagou, Rounga, Tougou and Youba permits located in Burkina Faso, West Africa, in order to finalize necessary paperwork.
The closing will be completed on or before February 3, 2012. Further details regarding the terms of the transaction are set out in Riverstone's news release of December 23, 2011.
