Haldane McCall PLC announces changes at its microfinance bank

Haldane McCall PLC's subsidiary Independent Prolific Microfinance Bank
recently concluded a board meeting.
The Board approved the recommendations of management to rebrand by changing
its name from Prolific Microfinance Bank to Independent Prolific
Microfinance Bank.
The Board also approved the increase of the bank authorised share capital
to EUR10 million subject to regulatory approval. This will position the
Bank at the forefront of Microfinance banking in Nigeria.
The Board also approved the appointment of new Managing Director Mr.
Anthony Ifeanyi following the death of the pervious Managing Director.
Haldane McCall PLC owns and operates among others, the Best Western Hotel
Brand in Nigeria, Suru Express Hotels in West Africa , Johnson Product of
Nigeria , Suru Homes Limited and Independent Prolific Micro Finance Bank.
