Ressources Appalaches' Nominates Mr. Jean-Claude Morel as Executive Vice-President
(firmenpresse) - RIMOUSKI, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 02/15/12 -- Ressources Appalaches (TSX VENTURE: APP) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Jean-Claude Morel to the position of Executive Vice-President. His proven professional aptitudes will be paramount as Ressources Appalaches embarks with the development of the Dufferin gold mine project.
Mr. Morel is a seasoned United Nations planning and operations manager. He has been accredited throughout his career for having delivered strong decisive leadership and sound management. He possesses extensive leadership practice nearing 25 years of management experience of which the majority involved the development and managing of multi-disciplinary teams ranging from engineering to logistics, including administrative and financial matters. Mr. Morel has completed a master's program in management (MADEM) from Royal Roads University.
Mr Alain Hupe, President, states: "Jean-Claude's aptitudes will be very useful as we set up a new production team and develop the Dufferin gold mine."
Ressources Appalaches has recently met with the relevant Provincial Authorities of Nova Scotia in order to reactivate the Dufferin mine operations, as well as initiate the process for de-watering activities. Furthermore, discussions are progressing in order to contract metallurgical test-works and a 43-101 report update required based on the 2009 report. The update will serve to include the 8,630 meters of drilling completed since then.
