(Ottawa, Ontario) Robert Ireland, CEO of Next Alternative, Inc., has
relayed that the firm recently began testing its Emulsion-Fuel on a fleet
of Smart Cars.
Next Alternative (NAI) is burning their Emulsion-Fuel, what they call
'NAI-Fuel', within the diesel engines in Mercedes Smart Cars. This
intercity fleet has commenced testing and this could result in a
multi-million dollar supplier arrangement for later in the year. NAI-Fuel
is a mixture of up to 60% petroleum, 40% water a miniscule amount of
stabilizing agent which bonds the fuel and keeps the strength of diesel.
This alternative fuel has proven to have a host of benefits. By powering
the Smart Cars with NAI-Fuel, NAI has already discovered that the vehicles
run smoothly, emit less greenhouse gas emissions and are much cheaper to
operate, making the already Green Smart Car, greener.
According to Ireland, 'NAI-Fuel is going to have massive implications on
the transportation industry.' He continued by saying, 'By offering a fuel
that is cleaner and costs less, consumers will have an alternative choice
that makes more sense financially and that protects the environment. Next
