Schneider Kreuznach expands in LED Illumination
Light Source Ultra LED Engine 6 for Medical and Industrial Market

(PresseBox) - With nearly 100 years of optical design experience, Schneider Kreuznach has developed a state-of-the-art light engine. The new Fiber Light Ultra LED Engine 6 has been designed to couple light efficiently into a fiber bundle. Outstanding 1200 lm luminous flux for 6 mm diameter active fibers (NA 0.54) deliver enough light with an excellent Illumination distribution for most challenging tasks. This makes the Ultra LED Engine 6 the perfect choice for medical applications, where small diameter light guides are commonly used. The Ultra LED Engine 6 is designed around a high brightness LED source.
An appropriate ventilation fan for cooling of the LEDs is an essential part of the unit. With its compact design the Ultra LED Engine 6 fits in machines with only little space and helps to save weight. 30.000 hours life time, reduce maintenance to a minimum.
More information on these new Schneider-Kreuznach products is available from 17 to 20 at Analytica 2012 in Munich, Hall A2, Stand 545.
