WashTec AG's Annual General Meeting decides on enlargement of Supervisory
Board
Augsburg, May 11, 2012 - As proposed in the agenda, yesterday's Annual
General Meeting of WashTec AG decided on an enlargement of the company's
Supervisory Board from formerly three to six members. Michael Busch will
remain chairman. Massimo Pedrazzini also continues to serve as member of
the Supervisory Board. The additionally elected members of the Supervisory
Board are Jens Große-Allermann, Dr. Sören Hein, Roland Lacher and Dr. Hans
Liebler. The former deputy chairman of the Supervisory Board, Jürgen Lauer,
withdrew his candidacy during the Annual General Meeting for personal
reasons. The Management regrets his resignation from the Supervisory Board
and wishes to thank Mr. Lauer for his extraordinary and longtime
achievements for WashTec AG.
The Management Board presented the strategy of the WashTec Group and
commented on the market situation, North America and financing. These
issues were also part of the general debate with the shareholders and the
shareholders' representatives. The further proposals of the Management,
especially with regard to the appropriation of distributable profit, were
accepted by the Annual General Meeting with a high majority.
