(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 05/28/12 -- His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, will visit Nova Scotia from May 29 to June 2, 2012.
"It is a pleasure to return to Nova Scotia, where I will be delivering a keynote address on the power of learning to change lives for the better at the World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics' World Congress in Halifax. I'm also looking forward to engaging with Nova Scotians during my visit to Yarmouth, where the fishing industry is the region's vital source of economy. Being the first governor general to visit the Acadian community of Pubnico is a great honour and I'm anxious to learn more about the history of the province's oldest Acadian community and embrace its proud heritage and culture," said His Excellency.
