Wärtsilä's disclosure policy updated

Wärtsilä's disclosure policy, originally approved on 23 September 2010, has been
revised. The disclosure policy describes Wärtsilä's operating principles and
procedures when communicating with capital market representatives. The main
change to the policy is that Wärtsilä will no longer publish stock exchange
releases or financial reports in Swedish, the aim being to ensure speed and
efficiency in the company's financial reporting and in the publishing of
releases. In addition to the reporting language related change, minor technical
adjustments have been made in the disclosure policy.
All Swedish language versions of communications material and documents, such as
company announcements, press releases, presentations and annual reports, will be
available on Wärtsilä's website until June 29, 2012, after which the corporate
Swedish website will be closed. All official material will continue to be
published in Finnish in accordance with legal requirements, as well as in
English.
The updated disclosure policy is attached to this release and is also available
on Wärtsilä's website at www.wartsila.com/investors.
