Quash is please to announce the re-organisation of the Board of Directors
as it continues to successfully pursue its strategy as set out last year.
Ben Fisher who was one of the founders of Quash and who helped grow the
international distribution network has resigned alongside Simon Whitton who
was the financial director.
At the same time we are delighted to announce that Mr John Leat has been
appointed to the board with immediate effect.
Mr Leat is an international businessman with more than 30 years experience
in leading boards of directors and managing organisations. Throughout his
career John has held senior board positions at both private and publicly
quoted companies across a range of sectors including Private Equity,
Telecoms and Insurance. He specialises in the Gulf States of the Middle
East with advanced knowledge of the culture, politics and hierarchy shaping
Arabic business in the global market place. The majority of his career was
focused on his role as the primary business and private affairs consultant
for HRH the Ruler of Dubai: Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. He also
had extensive involvement in the foundation of the city of Dubai as a
global hub for business, tourism, travel and international events. John has
joined the Board to bring expertise in the running of a public company and
to drive business development in the Middle East.
Commenting on the resignations John Garner said:
