Justin Bieber Takes Over Top Events Rankings for May

(firmenpresse) - SOUTH WINDSOR, CT -- (Marketwire) -- 06/05/12 -- After boy band One Direction dominated the rankings for two straight months, the recently announced Believe Tour from Justin Bieber took over the top spot on ' Monthly Top Events rankings, as compiled from May 1-31, 2012.

Bieber with presales for the shows beginning the same day. The singer will be embarking on his tour beginning on September 29 at the Jobing.com Arena in Glendale, AZ, and is scheduled to perform more than 45 dates across North America before wrapping up at American Airlines Arena in Miami, FL, on January 26.

Carrie Underwood and Barbra Streisand joined Bieber in making strong debuts in the rankings finishing at No. 6 and No. 7 respectively. Underwood will be on September 14 in Manchester, NH, which includes more than 50 dates. Streisand's solid ranking can be credited to in her hometown of Brooklyn, NY.
