Heliocentris and NTEC establish Joint Venture in Kuwait to expand
commercial presence in the Middle East
* Heliocentris and NTEC deepen their cooperation by the foundation of the
Joint Venture 'Heliocentris Kuwait'
* The Joint Venture will allow Heliocentris to expand its presence and
business in Kuwait and throughout the region
Berlin - June 8, 2012: Heliocentris, a specialist in autonomous energy
supply and energy efficiency solutions, today announced the formation of a
joint venture (JV) with the National Technology Enterprises Company NTEC, a
fully owned subsidiary of the Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA). The joint
venture, Heliocentris Kuwait, aims to become a strong and locally embedded
player that will support and benefit from the extensive activities and
environmental-friendly initiatives of the State of Kuwait. It will make an
active contribution to further decrease Kuwait's carbon footprint by
establishing best in class technologies in the country.

network in Kuwait and the Middle East' said Dr. András Gosztonyi, Chief
Financial Officer of Heliocentris Energy Solutions AG. 'The combination of
our intensive cooperation with NTEC with our industrial energy efficiency
offering as well as our strong commitment to transfer know how via our
Training and Research portfolio will boost business especially in Kuwait.'

portfolio in Kuwait and throughout the region'.

energy solutions in the region.'
NTEC as a Kuwaiti company holds a 51% stake in the JV and Heliocentris 49%.
Heliocentris holds the controlling rights of the new venture.
