PRESS RELEASE

CBF China Bio-Fertilizer AG remains confident despite facing continuation
of difficult market situation

Hamburg, Germany, 11 June 2012 - CBF China Bio-Fertilizer AG, the market
leader for bio fertilizer in China keeps facing a continuous challenging
environment as a result of losses suffered by high-value crop farmers in
China since the second half of 2011. In Q1 2012, the company's operating
subsidiary Shandong Chengwu Jiuzhou Science and Technology Development
Company recorded revenues of RMB 16.2 million (2.0 million EUR) and gross
profit margin of 63%. Although revenues recorded decreased by 28.6% as
compared to the same period last year (Q1 2011: RMB 26.2 million/ EUR2.8
million), this result simply reflects the continuation of the difficult
environment carried forward from 2011 and it is similar to the revenues
recorded in the last quarter (4Q 2011: RMB17.3 million/ 1.92 million EUR).

'Despite the continuation of the difficult market situation, the company
will apply some measures to deal with the problem,' comments Tao JIANG, CEO
of CBF Bio-Fertilizer AG. 'Apart from adjusting the competitiveness of our
products to suit both high-value crop and lower-value crop farmers, we are
now negotiating with several third parties for exploration of different
options to expand our sales network both in domestic and overseas markets.
We are confident to raise our sales figures in the near future.' A detailed
outlook will be published in the annual report which will be released in
the next weeks.

Bacteria-based biological fertilizer

CBF's bio fertilizer primarily consist of two different bacteria that, when
put in the ground with the conventional fertilizers convert phosphorus and
potassium into a form that is easily absorbed by plants. Using this bio
fertilizer reduces the need for chemical fertilizers by up to 30% and,
depending on the type of plant, boosts crop yields by up to 30%.
