The event is sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People?s Republic of China and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
During PT/EXPO COMM CHINA 2011 more than 500 exhibitors from 23 countries presented their technologies to 123.000 attendees.

PT EXPO COMM CHINA, the leading exhibition for ICT in China, will open its doors from September 18 - 22, 2012 and offers the ideal platform for the latest market and business developments. Chinese leading carriers and manufacturers and international players of the ICT industry worldwide will come together.
As second largest trading nation and second largest economy with the highest currency reserves, China belongs to the economic powerhouses worldwide. Despite the global economic uncertainty and crisis, China?s ICT industry is expected to grow by nearly 15 % this year. While in the past years the rapid growth was mainly driven by exports, now China?s economy is observing a rapid increase of their domestic consumer demand. Predictions say that in 2012 around 148 million units of smartphones will be sold including a considerable portion of 3G enabled phones. Also the global trend of tablet PCs arrived in China and electronic products, including different sizes of display panels, lithium batteries and LEDs will face high demand in the future.
PT/EXPO COMM CHINA 2012 will encompass new generation of information technology and focus on next NGN, Internet of things, Tri-Network Convergence, High Performance IC, High End Software etc. The convergence trend of Information Technology and consumer electronics products is getting obvious and this year´s event will provide more area for consumer electronics products presentation in order to fully present developing trend of the ICT industry.
