Corporate Language Learning Tool ‘Speexx’ Secures Top Global Award
(firmenpresse) - For the fourth time in a row, Munich communications specialist digital publishing is recognised as an innovative educational resource by the Worlddidac Association.
Munich - Monday, 3rd September 2012 - dp (digital publishing), the global provider of award-winning corporate language training Speexx, today announced that it has been awarded the prestigious Worlddidac Award for the category ‘Information and Communication Technologies’. The renowned Worlddidac Association’s international expert jury described the Speexx learning platform as particularly “innovative and valuable for education”. The official award presentation ceremony took place on 31st August 2012 as part of the 60-year anniversary celebration of the Worlddidac Association in Bern, Switzerland.
With more than 50 entries from around the world, including the United States, Brazil, France and the United Kingdom, the Worlddidac’s judging panel shortlisted only 28 as being worthy of a prize. The board praised the exceptional quality of dp’s language learning solutions, in particular with regard to their instructional conception, user-friendliness and contribution to the improvement and facilitation of learning and teaching in language courses. The criteria for judging the products included educational and instructional value, design and sustainability.
The international judging panel decided unanimously that Speexx sets the benchmark in user-friendliness, design, structure and innovation of language learning programmes.
The Worlddidac Award is presented by the Worlddidac Association, an independent international foundation with members in 43 countries. The prize is the most renowned international distinction in the education sector and is awarded for products which stand out in the areas of quality, ecological compatibility, educational value, user-friendliness, design, innovation, interactivity and value for money.
