D.C. Insiders Speak on Healthcare and More: New England Employee Benefits Council's Washington Update, Boston, Sept. 28
(firmenpresse) - WALTHAM, MA -- (Marketwire) -- 09/07/12 -- Senior federal and association officials will offer an insider's view of healthcare reform, retirement-plan issues, legislative initiatives and the presidential election at the New England Employee Benefits Council's annual Washington Update, in Boston.
The powerhouse speakers are Phyllis Borzi, assistant secretary of labor of the Employee Benefits Security Administration; Mark Iwry, senior advisor to the secretary of the treasury and deputy assistant secretary (tax policy) for retirement and health policy at the U.S. Treasury Department; and Paul Dennett, senior vice president, health care reform, American Benefits Council.
Attendees will get the scoop on emerging trends in healthcare and retirement policymaking, recent benefits legislation and regulations, and key insights into what the fall election may mean for the world of employee benefits.
