Two Microsoft MVPs Named at Smith & Allen Consulting, Inc.
Microsoft Awarded Its Most Valuable Professional (MVP) Designation to Two Employees From the Same Company; Out of Over 100 Million Eligible Recipients, Jivtesh Singh and Belinda Allen, Both of Smith and Allen Consulting, Inc., Have Been Named as MVPs
(firmenpresse) - NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 09/10/12 -- Microsoft awarded its Most Valuable Professional (MVP) designation to two employees of Smith and Allen Consulting, Inc. (SACI). For the first time, co-founder Belinda Allen was named as an MVP, and Jivtesh Singh received the award for the second consecutive year.
According to Microsoft, out of over 100 million eligible members, approximately 4000 receive its annual MVP award. The criteria include technical expertise, community leadership and voluntary contributions to the Microsoft community, and candidates are nominated by Microsoft, colleagues, or other community members.
Microsoft states: "MVPs are recognized for their exceptional technical expertise, willingness to help others make the most of their technology, and for making a significant and positive impact on communities. MVPs reach out and contribute to online and offline communities through a broad range of channels. These include online forums such as Microsoft Answers, TechNet and MSDN; wikis and online content; conferences and user groups; their own podcasts, Web sites and blogs; and articles and books."
MVPs also receive early access to new and emerging technologies from Microsoft through a variety of their programs, and this exposure makes them even more valuable to the clients they serve as MVPs are on the cutting edge of both software and hardware evolutions.
Both SACI team members represent Microsoft Dynamics GP. First-time MVP recipient Allen is one of the co-founders of SACI (), with over 21 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. She is also both a Microsoft Certified Professional for Dynamics GP (MCP) and a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT). Additionally, her blog, , is specifically designed for Dynamics GP users with regular postings and tutorial videos for numerous aspects of the software.
Receiving the award for the second consecutive year, Singh both developed and maintains , a resource hub and collection of Dynamics-related blogs, articles and forums used by Dynamics GP professionals around the world.
