The Company advises that it has received an official Court document related to
the status of its criminal and civil actions against Mr. NESTOR CHAMORRO
ARAVENA, personally and as legal representative of INVERSIONES GRUPO MINERO S.A.
and AURO MARGA S.A the proposed Joint Venture partner at La Toyota. A

corresponds to the present cause for the crime of Misappropriation. This in
accordance with Article 243 (last paragraph) of the Criminal Code, under legal
pain of opening a case against him for the crime of Misappropriation in
detriment of VERITAS RESSOURCE CR S.A., VERITAS MINING CR S.A. AND VERITAS GOLD
CR S.A. REP. DAVID BRIAN JACKSON. NESTOR LEONARDO CHAMORRO ARAVENA IS ALSO TOLD
THAT THE NON-COMPLIANCE WITH SUCH PREVENTION, IS DULY REFERRED TO IN THIS ACT,
FOR FRIDAY 09 APRIL 2010, AT ABOUT 13:00 HRS IN THIS OFFICE, TO RECEIVE
PRELIMINARY STATEMENT WITH RESPECT TO THIS CASE, ALONG WITH HIS COUNSEL. IT IS

David Jackson, CEO of Ascot Mining, stated: "This Court Order vindicates our
pursuit of the recovery of equipment loaned, materials and structures provided
in developing the infrastructure at the La Toyota project. The situation at La
Toyota has been fundamentally responsible for the Company missing its production
objectives and anticipated revenues over the past four months as La Toyota was
scheduled to commence production in December 2009. The behaviour of Mr. NESTOR
CHAMORRO ARAVENA, personally INVERSIONES GRUPO MINERO S.A. and AURO MARGA S.A
and its shareholders has negatively impacted the market capitalization (share
price) of Ascot Mining and has frustrated its ability to raise additional funds.
The necessity of writing off substantial monies in the recently completed audit
of the Holding Company has damaged Ascot Mining. Much of this write off may soon
be repatriated to the Group's balance sheet. We have instructed our legal team
to continue with criminal and/or civil action as may be appropriate to the full
extent of the laws of Costa Rica with regard to damages; collection of monies
owed for construction services, breach of contract and lost business
opportunity".
Meanwhile, the Company continues to advance its Chassoul expansion project, the
further development of its plans to construct two new gravity mills for Tres
Hermanos and El Recio and its planned acquisitions of advanced properties and
exploration projects. Management remains confident in Ascot's viability, its
business opportunities and its ongoing growth potential and will shortly be
making a further announcement.

The BOARD of DIRECTORS of Ascot Mining plc ("Company") wish to announce that all
the resolutions proposed for the Annual General Meeting held at 4.30pm on 26th
March 2010 at the registered office of the Company at the offices of Millers
Associates Limited, 4th Floor, 36 Spital Square, London, E1 6DY, were passed.
The Directors take responsibility for this announcement.
