PNG Gold Corporation Update on Officers
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 09/28/12 -- PNG Gold Corporation ("PNG Gold" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: PGK) announces changes in various officer's positions in anticipation of the expanded drilling program that is commencing on the Imwauna and Sehulea properties. Lorne Warner, who has been acting as Interim President and CEO, is now having to devote most of his time to operational concerns and will therefore assume the position of Chief Operating Officer. The void left by Mr. Warner will be filled by Greg Clarkes, Chairman of the board, who will take over Mr. Warner's CEO duties and by Neil Halldorson as President to manage the day-to-day administrative and corporate affairs of the Company. Messrs Warner, Clarkes and Halldorson work closely together at PNG Gold and the new titles are meant to better reflect how their internal roles have changed as the Company ramps up the development of its Papua New Guinea properties. Also joining the Company's ranks as CFO is Rick Low, announced August 27, 2012, who previously was the Director Finance at Eco Oro Minerals Corp.
