Homestake Acquires Shares of Bravada Gold Corporation

(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 09/28/12 -- Homestake Resource Corporation ("Homestake") (TSX VENTURE: HSR)(FRANKFURT: B6IH) reports that on September 26, 2012 it acquired 550,000 common shares of Bravada Gold Corporation ("Bravada") at a deemed price of $0.05 per share as a bonus for entering into a loan agreement dated September 4, 2012. Together with its previous holdings, Homestake now owns and controls 11,697,687 common shares of Bravada representing 10.19% of the issued and outstanding common shares of Bravada.

Homestake acquired the common shares for investment purposes, but may, from time to time, reconsider its holdings in Bravada and, as circumstances dictate, may increase or decrease its position in Bravada.
