Axxcelera Broadband Wireless Announces AxxceLTE(TM) Evolved Packet Core (EPC)
(firmenpresse) - CHICAGO, IL -- (Marketwire) -- 10/30/12 -- Axxcelera Broadband Wireless, a Moseley company and premier provider of broadband wireless communications products and technologies, announced today the introduction of the AxxceLTE™ micro Evolved Packet Core (µEPC). The AxxceLTE™ µEPC is a compact cost-optimized all-in-one alternative to traditional segmented EPC products. It integrates MME, S-GW, P-GW and HSS functionality into a single platform and support 3GPP compliant LTE external interfaces. It runs on a range of industry standard hardware under the Linux operating system. This allows customers to choose the hardware platform that is most appropriate for their application. The base system supports up to 5,000 UEs and 10 eNodeBs, expandable up to 10,000 UEs and 100 eNodeBs.
