(PresseBox) - At VISION 2012, Schneider-Kreuznach presents its Ultra LED Engine 6, a specially developed light source that couples light extremely effectively into a fiber bundle. With an outstanding luminous flux of 1200 lumen for light conductors with 6 mm active fiber bundles (NA 0.54), it delivers sufficient light with an excellent brightness distribution. The Ultra LED Engine 6 is based on a high-performance LED source cooled by a ventilation fan. Thanks to its compact lightweight design, it can be fitted in systems with little space. With a service life of 30,000 hours, maintenance is reduced to a minimum.
The Ultra LED Engine 6 is ideally suited for challenging applications where small-diameter optical fibers are required.
