Douglas, Isle of Man, 27. November 2012: Haldane McCall PLC (Frankfurt: WKN A1J3U8, HMK1), a European company that invests in emerging markets in Africa, confirms a date for laying the foundation stone of the 1000 low cost housing project.
The foundation stone for the construction of 1,000 low-costs housing units in Majidun, Lagos, Nigeria will be laid on 11th of December 2012,. The Lagos State Honorable Commissioner for Housing Bosun Jeje will conduct this ceremony. The construction time of the 1,000 apartments will be 24 months. Some of the units are already sold. This project is expected to generate sales revenue of more than 60 million U.S. dollars for Haldane McCall.
The chairman of the company, Edward Akinlade will be speaking at this year’s Diaspora Conference on 13th December 2012 at Portcullis House, House of Commons, Westminster, London. Other key note speakers are Simon Hughes, Deputy Leader of the British Liberal Democrats, David Lammy MP Labour Party, Gov Peter Obi of Anambra State , Nigeria and Rt. Hon Ikuforiji , Speaker Lagos house of Assembly, Nigeria.
The company will shortly announce further information on the prospectus and the stock exchange listing.
