Holzkirchen / Germany, May 17, 2010 - Carpevigo AG of Germany (ISIN
DE000A0LR6B6), a contractor and operator of solar energy power plants, again
banks on interim financing with mezzanine capital for the construction of
additional PV power plants.
The project developer thus avoids the risk premiums banks charge prior to and
during construction. At the same time investors take advantage of an attractive
interest rate of 8% at a duration of two years. During this period funds
provided by investors will be relocated and used for the realization of further
power plants.
The corporate action with an issuing volume of 7.0 Mio. Euro will again be
placed by Munic based Hofmann-Finanz Management GmbH who has been specialized on
mezzanine financing for more than ten years.
Carpevigo AG has built PV power plants with an overall capacity of app. 13.5
Megawatt in Germany and Southern Europe. As a general rule the company operates
with a high equity-to-assets ratio. Project development and construction are
always fully financed using either equity or mezzanine capital. After completion
and connection to the grid financing is converted to long term bank loans. As of
May 1 2010 Carpevigo AG had a project pipeline with PV power plants to be built
in South and Southeast Europe with a total capacity of 12 MWp.
The prospectus of this capital investment fully complies with the german
IDW-Standard. The prospectus will be available by the end of May..
