SIP-Trunk for Unified Messaging - Cooperation between serVonic and QSC
serVonic’s Unified Communication solutions now are certified for the QSC point-to-point connection “IPfonie extended“. Both companies confirm the smooth collaboration of serVonic’s unified messaging server solution IXI-UMS with Fax and Voice and the SIP-trunk “QSC IPfonie extended“ of the Cologne-based ITC-service provider.
serVonic‘s IXI-UMS and Microsoft’s Lync Server can be connected to PSTN directly via QSC SIP-trunk(firmenpresse) - The solution of QSC provides a SIP-based point-to-point connection, IXI-UMS directly communicates with the SIP-trunk via IXI-UMS VoIPconnect. That way, companies can use any number of unified messaging extensions also when IXI-UMS is deployed via IP.
The Olching-based software provider serVonic, leading producer in the fields of Unified Communication, has tested “QSC IPfonie extended” in detail. “We tested the unified messaging features Fax and Voice inbound and outbound as well as the remote inquiry with the QSC SIP-trunk,” says Jochen Klein, CEO at serVonic GmbH. “Everything worked fine right from the start, so we released “IPfonie extended” for our IXI-UMS software.”

With “QSC IPfonie extended”, companies are flexible: They can order exactly the number of channels needed from their carrier. An available SIP-trunk can also be extended. When a company, for example, uses Microsoft Lync Server 2010 directly at the SIP-trunk “QSC IPfonie extended link“ specifically developed for this, extension numbers for IXI-UMS can be rerouted to a second SIP-trunk, in this case “QSC IPfonie extended”.

The current IXI-UMS version 5.9 from serVonic including VoIPconnect is available at serVonic and sales partners for prices beginning at 915 Euro (plus legal VAT, if applicable). “QSC IPfonie extended” is available for prices beginning at 8.70 Euro/Month (plus legal VAT, if applicable) at QSC and sales partners.
