Swiss Portfolio Management Company invests in solar power plants in Italy with
Carpevigo
Holzkirchen / Zurich, May 25, 2010 - Carpevigo AG, an independent project
developer and operator of solar power plants, and the Swiss Infina Partners AG
have arranged a long-term cooperation in the field of solar energy generation.
Pilot project is a solar power plant in the South of Italy with an investment
volume of 10 Mio. Euro.
Carpevigo AG develops and operates solar systems and power plants for the solar
photovoltaic energy generation. Compared to other project developers the Bavaria
based company mainly takes the power plants into their own portfolio. Since it
was founded in 2006 Carpevigo has implemented solar power plants with a total
capacity of 13.5 Megawatt in Europe. The company has projects with an overall
capacity of about 12 Megawatt ready for development in locations above all in
Southern and South-eastern Europe.
The Swiss Infina Partners AG has over 30 years of experience in portfolio
management and investment consulting for private investors and focuses on
long-term sustainable investments.
Infina Partners will take a 50% share in a solar power plant in the region
Apulia, in the South of Italy. The investment volume amounts to 10 Mio. Euro.
The plant is already under construction and should be completed and connected
to the public power grid by midyear.
