KONE acquires automatic door company in France

KONE has acquired ATPE-AMIB S.A., a French automatic door company. The
Paris-based company provides and maintains gates, garage doors, access control
and intercom installations in residential buildings. ATPE-AMIB has 2,800 doors
in its maintenance base and employs 49 people.
"This acquisition strengthens KONE's position in France and help us improve our
maintenance and modernization operations," says Eric Maziol, EVP and Area
