Frankfurt, February 18, 2013 - Gesellschaft für Entwicklung, Beschaffung
und Betrieb (g.e.b.b. - Company for Development, Procurement and Operation)
has just become a new member of the initiative 'being closer'. Thanks to
this, there is now also a company from the defence sector joining the
confederation of in-house units of leading companies. As an in-house
consultant for the Federal Ministry of Defence, g.e.b.b. provides
consultancy services for all issues in connection with economic
feasibility, flexibilisation, process orientation and quality improvement.
By joining the group, g.e.b.b. will strengthen its profile on the market
for job applicants and position consultancy as an attractive career path in
the defence sector.

'Our mission is to relieve the German Federal Armed Forces and to draw
attention to tasks that could be done better and at lower cost by applying
the appropriate measures,' explains Wolfgang Probandt, CEO of g.e.b.b. 'In
order to carry out this challenging task, we are always on the look out for
highly qualified applicants: we will also have high staff requirements in
2013.'

g.e.b.b. was founded in the year 2000 and currently employs 110 men and
women. The team is made up of experts with backgrounds in the private
sector, as well as long-term employees of the German Army. One of the
company's main tasks is to develop concepts for the reorganisation of




service functions within the German Federal Armed Forces. In addition,
g.e.b.b. also supports the implementation of these concepts, if
commissioned to do so.

g.e.b.b. is the in-house consultancy firm for the Federal Ministry of
Defence and was founded in the course of the modernisation of the German
Federal Armed Forces in August 2000. Its internal consultants apply their
expertise gained in the private sector to the development of modernisation
concepts for the German Federal Armed Forces in the consultancy fields of
real estate, logistics, organisation management and human resources, as

The initiative 'dichter dran' (being closer) of the in-house consulting
units of leading companies pursues the objective of granting an insight
into the work of in-house consulting. The joint internet presence
(www.inhouse-consulting.de) serves as a platform for this. In addition to
the continuous internal exchange of information, the objective is also to
create a clear in-house consulting profile. As well as profiles of
consultants, the website also contains case studies and information about
the members.
