Berlin, April 25th, 2013 - The Supervisory Board of Berliner Synchron AG
yesterday appointed Marcus Dröscher to its Executive Board effective May
1st, 2013. Marcus Dröscher will be managing Berliner Synchron AG day-to-day
whilst Christoph Gerlinger who is also CEO of another company has been
focusing on the restructuring process since he joined the Executive Board
in January 2013. Marcus Dröscher has been CFO of Berliner Synchron AG since
November 1st, 2011. Before joining the company Marcus Dröscher was part of
the team auditing Berliner Synchron AG and therefore has a deep knowledge
of the company.
Karlheinz Lubojanski, a long-standing member of the Executive Board, has
left the company effective April 24th, 2013.
Berliner Synchron AG is also planning to make another appointment to its
Senior Management Team focusing on Sales in the short term.
Despite its close business relationships with all major US studios and its
excellent market position, Berliner Synchron AG has been reporting an
operating loss over the last few years. Now, after the closure of the
Sale-and-Lease-back-Agreement last week and this change in the senior
management structure, Berliner Synchron AG can now focus on the further
restructuring and the implementation of its new business strategy.
