KUALA LUMPUR, 13th MAY 2013, Vasseti UK Plc which owns and operates the
visionary VSAN project or better known as Vasseti South Asia Network looks
forward to delivering its services to underserved areas situated in and
around the Indochina region and are poised to reach Kunming in China by the
end of 2013. With its network expected to reach a distance of 30,000 km of
fiber, looks set to become the leading backhaul provider in Asia.
Mr Ranjeet Singh Sidhu, President of the Group, when asked what was the
motivation for such a project when most global Telco's shy away from such
huge commitments, he simply said that the 'time is ripe' obviously in
reference to the expected growth of Indochina basin within the next two
years and with Myanmar, one of the last remaining military controlled
countries, opening its doors to foreign investments and participation, the
region looks set to be the next place to be.
Apart from the huge potential earnings due to the regions relative infancy
stage of its telecommunication industry, this will allow engagement of
minority groups mainly those affected with poverty to participant in the
global economic revolution that is sweeping the Internet world. The
potential for reaching out to these communities through the Internet in
terms of educations, e-trading, government subsidies, information sharing
platform or as a means to encourage entrepreneurial skills is tremendous.
The company also understand that apart from providing community service,
the potential for future growth is tremendous, with a combined population
of one and half Billion from India and another two Billion from China
together with three hundred million sitting between both giants, the math's
makes perfect sense.
The company aims to be a single 'ubiquitous' provider in the region working
with local providers to deliver services within their country boundaries as
well as enabling the local players to become regional and even global
players. The concepts calls for the inclusive participant of all providers
instead of becoming competitors to the market, the company seeks to embrace
and provide a synergy of services that otherwise would be too costly for
them to partake due to cross border toll gates imposed by respective
incumbent National Telco's. In other words it's a single network managed by
a single company and is a one stop center for all your telecommunication
needs.
It's seldom seen that an idea that can be lucrative can also serve as a
community project, in which typically the latter comes after the former has
been achieved. With this project currently pushing for completion, its
looks set that the company may well achieve a profitable outlook and a
moral victory at the same time.
