Basware expands e-invoicing service agreement with major German automotive
company in China
Basware has expanded the agreement to provide its e-invoicing services to one of
the world's largest automotive companies in China. The contract covers the Scan
& Capture Service enabling the customer to convert paper invoices to e-invoices.
The value of the deal exceeds EUR 400,000 over the next three years. The
implementation project will start in June.
"We are very happy to see our customer expanding the service agreement even
further. The previous expansion in April already covered 8 countries in their
APAC operations. By adopting the Scan & Capture service also in China, the
customer will be able to convert additional 270,000 annual invoices to e-
invoices and achieve even greater benefits", says Esa Tihilä, CEO, Basware
Corporation. "The acquisition of First Businesspost GmbH in 2012 granted us the
position of the leading e-Invoice operator in Germany, one of our key markets.
Now this former First Businesspost customer is expanding the agreement for the
second time which shows that we have been able to build a solid relationship
with the customer."
