Northcore Resources' JV Partner Vanstar Completes the First Phase of Work on the Little Monster Project

(firmenpresse) - MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwired) -- 07/25/13 -- Northcore Resources Inc. ("Northcore" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE: NCR) wishes to announce that Vanstar Mining Resources Inc. has completed the first phase geological and geophysical surveys of the Little Monster project located 40 km SE of Chapais, Quebec.

Vanstar reported that a magnetic survey of approximately 30 kilometres was conducted in the northwest section of Little Monster, near the border of TomaGold's Monster Lake project. A number of outcrop samples were also taken by the work team in recent weeks.

Several mineralized and sheared structures have been identified in the project. All samples collected have been sent to Laboratoire Expert in Rouyn-Noranda for testing.

The Little Monster project, in which Northcore can earn a 50-per-cent interest in, is made up of 20 map designated cells covering approximately 1,100 hectares. They are situated in the Fancamp deformation corridor.

The work mentioned was completed under the supervision of Daniel Kelly, engineering consultant, and a qualified person under National Instrument 43-101.
