comm.fleet convinced well-established traditional companies
Two successful family businesses companies - the Knoll Group and Reiter GmbH launch a modern software for fleet management.

In 1935, Erwin Knoll started a small Bosch Service in Bayreuth. Over the years and in close cooperation with the Bosch Company, the enterprise developed itself steadily and expanded to the successful Knoll Company Group. The still privately owned company employs approximately 750 people throughout Germany but nevertheless has never lost its charm and tradition.
Currently the fleet of the Knoll Company numbers more than 200 vehicles. In December 2012 the previously used software Fleet+ was migrated to the innovative fleet management system comm.fleet. In the new software the company appreciates especially the extensive possibilities of the reporting function. This way the Knoll Company has access to customized reports which form the basis for economic analysis of the development of the fleet costs; cost drivers can be identified and if needed managers can intervene in regulating manner. The informative reports can be summarized in a management dashboard and the integrated report management provides in every dialogue and at every step the necessary forms, reports or analysis, mentioned Kai Polom - Fleet Manager of the Knoll Group.
The Knoll Company also uses actively the integrated fuel data import function of comm.fleet. In comm.fleet fuel data of all major oil companies can be easily imported and assigned to the vehicles. Furthermore comm.fleet supports the setup of interfaces for the import of data from company-owned gas stations. The Knoll Group uses a standard interface for the import of BP-fuel data.
Also the company Reiter GmbH, located in Polling, responds innovatively to the increasing requirements in the business of transportation and with the help of comm.fleet optimizes the management of its company fleet.
The Reiter GmbH is a family business with a high expertise in shipping and transportation obtained over many years of business experience. Well-trained and responsible drivers as well as the truck fleet form the backbone of the company. The trucks are equipped with modern telematics. This on the one hand enables track tracing at any time and on the other hand ensures that every cargo reaches its destination on time.
In order to optimize all business processes around the company's fleet, Reiter GmbH decided to employ the multifunctional fleet management software comm.fleet for the management of their company vehicles.
The numerous fleet relevant functionalities do not only support an extensive cost management, but also facilitate the recording and presentation of technical resumes and their management. Not least, the archiving of important documents perfects the process of a paperless fleet management, as comm.fleet allows the immediate access to archived documents without inconvenient paper searches. Thanks to the built-in archive function, comm.fleet allows us a perfect management of all fleet relevant documents, stresses Josef Reiter, Managing Director of Reiter GmbH.
