KONE to supply elevators and escalators to Luneng Lingxiucheng commercial complex in Shandong province, China

KONE, an innovative leader in the elevator and escalator industry, will supply
37 elevators and 62 escalators to a commercial complex to be built in Jinan
City, the capital of Shandong province in China. This modern multipurpose
complex, situated 7 kilometers from the downtown area, will consist of a hotel,
an office building and a commercial center. KONE's solutions will enable
smoother people flow in the office and commercial sections of the complex, which
are scheduled to be ready by the end of 2014.
The 140-meter-tall office building will have 30 floors and be equipped with 11
KONE MiniSpace(TM) elevators and two KONE MonoSpace® elevators. These industry-
leading solutions will offer passengers premium ride comfort and enhanced eco-
efficiency. For the 250,000 square meter commercial podium, KONE will deliver
24 MonoSpace® elevators, 60 KONE TravelMaster(TM) 110 escalators and two KONE
TravelMaster(TM) 115 autowalks to make the customer experience as smooth and
safe as possible. The KONE E-Link monitoring system will also be used in both
buildings to enable the efficient management of equipment and quick reaction to
changing traffic situations.

The complex is designed by East China Architectural Design and Research
Institute Co., Ltd., and the main contractor is Shandong Luneng Genfu
Development Co. Ltd.
The order was booked in the second quarter of 2013.
