HelaTape: New Electrical Tapes Provide High Performance and Reliability

HellermannTyton continues to expand its product portfolio with the addition of important insulation products. The leading manufacturer of cable solutions has developed a broad range of electrical tapes to meet customer needs and requirements

(PresseBox) - Electrical tapes are becoming increasingly popular. They can often replace cost-intensive mounting- and insulating methods and provide exceptional advantages: The tapes are easy to use, adhere immediately and thus shorten work- and processing times.
For applications in the low voltage range HellermannTyton offers PVC-insulating tapes in numerous colours and sizes. These tapes are used for wire insulating, cable splicing, terminating, colour coding and more. The HelaTape Flex Premium tapes 1000+ and 2000+ are designed to be used easily and are flexible even at very low ambient temperatures. Thus they are suited for many challenging exterior applications.
Helatape Power tapes are particularly suited for use in high voltage situations, the user can choose from a range of self-fusing tapes made from a rubber-based insulating compound.
The HelaTape Power Series includes various rubber-based and specialised tapes which are qualified for low, high and very high voltage applications. The Power tapes have excellent resistance to chemicals and to ozone and corona discharge.
HelaTape Shield is a range of conductive tapes that are suitable for repairing or splicing shielded cables. Additionally, HellermannTyton offers HelaTape Shield 320, this is a copper based conductive braided tape made. Due to its woven design HelaTape Shield 320 can cover irregular shapes and provides good metallic shielding.
