Inter airport: industry-specific conveyors from Montech
The Swiss conveyor technology specialist Montech AG is introducing its industry-specific conveyors for check-in and security screening areas at inter airport 2013, in Hall B6, Stand 636.
Montech conveyors for check-in counters(firmenpresse) - To weigh and transport baggage at check-in counters, Montech offers a conveyor with incorporated scale, as well as a conveyor for baggage transport. The baggage conveyor is provided with a special surface finishing to prevent scratches and rips. The compact design is ideal for installation in short and long conveyor lines. The conveyors comply with airport regulations for personal protection and fire security.
Side extraction for security screening systems
For security screening systems, Montech is showcasing an application with baggage side extraction. A conveyor carries the baggage to be scanned to the screening system. From here, the baggage is conveyed onto a conveyor specifically developed for this application, and extracted if needed. Gianluca Aloisi, Director Sales at Montech: “This solution developed by Montech is fast and cost-effective, increasing efficiency and/or capacity in the screening process.”
Conveyors with incorporated drive
The drive of Montech’s conveyors has 63 mm diameter and it is integrated in the shaft. Conveyors are designed as modular units with fully functional components. The modular concept allows to assemble conveyors in any configuration, as well as to extend or shorten them very easily and cost-effectively.
“Our conveyors boast an eye-catching design, and as a Swiss company, our products are synonyms for quality and reliability,” states Aloisi. Finally, each conveyor can be individually adapted to specific operating conditions and regulations.
