Veidekke ASA : Veidekke to build office building in Randaberg

Veidekke's subsidiary, Block Berge Bygg AS, has been awarded a contract to build
a new office building in Randaberg for Randaberg Group AS. This will be a
turnkey contract valued at NOK 110 million, excluding VAT.
The new office building will house employees of the Randaberg Group and will be
located at Harestad in Randaberg municipality in Jæren. The building will have a
total area of around 9,300 m² over four storeys of offices and a three-level
underground parking facility. The architect is Plank Arkitekter AS in Sandnes.
The project has been developed in cooperation between the client, architect and
contractor and will be built with load-bearing concrete element façades in mini
coated grey concrete. The solution is a good basis for constructing an energy-
efficient building with energy class B with the option of going to energy class
A.

Construction started a short time ago, and the building will be ready for
takeover in December 2014.
