Main shareholder of SHW AG reviewing strategic options
Munich, 24 Oktober 2013 --- SHW Holding L.P. is currently reviewing
strategic options regarding the possible sale of its remaining stake held
in SHW AG. SHW Holding L.P. is owned by several private equity fund
vehicles (Nordwind Capital). SHW AG is a German stock listed automotive
supplier.
The strategic options may include a sale in full or in part either by a
market placement or by a trade sale to a strategic buyer. This process may
result in an exit from SHW Holding L.P.'s current 58.3 percent ownership.
Any market placement or trade sale will remain subject to favourable
capital market conditions and general market environment.
Nordwind Capital has been invested in SHW AG since 2005 and has reduced its
holding to 58.3 percent as part of an Initial Public Offering in July 2011.
Deutsche Bank has been mandated to advise SHW Holding L.P. on a possible
market placement.
