Munich, 11 August 2010 - 118000, the telephone exchange for Germany today
announced that it has secured the services of Daniela Katzenberger. The
23-year-old star of the expat series 'Goodbye Deutschland' will now use her
broad-based media presence to make the 118000 product known throughout
Germany.
'Daniela Katzenberger is a typical 118000 user. She doesn't want to be
called by just anybody but wants to be reachable at all times when it
matters. Since she is gaining new fans by the day, a virtual 118000
secretary is an ideal aid for her. Plus, she is down-to-earth, spontaneous
and very likeable,' says 118000 CEO Dr. Klaus Harisch.
The 23-year-old Daniela Katzenberger - who runs her own celebrity caféon
Mallorca - has attracted huge media interest with her TV broadcasts to
date. The first commercials with the Ludwigshafen-born star will be shot as
early as August 2010. From September, Ms. Katzenberger will be promoting
the benefits of Germany's 118000 telephone exchange on TV, radio and the
web. 'I'm amazed no one thought of this handy service before,' says the new
face of 118000. 'It certainly gets the Katzenberger stamp of approval!'
The 118000 service is the first telephone switchboard service in Germany
and works just like a giant telephone exchange. Call center staff at 118000
pass no data to third parties and will only connect callers if both parties
