Baader Bank AG is offering its own solution for professional foreign
exchange trading in Baader FX-Trader. As from today, customers can perform
spot deals in G10 currencies. In addition, spot deals are also possible in
Singapore and Hong Kong dollars. FX swaps, FX forwards and other exotic
currencies are to be added soon.
'Forex trading marks a further expansion of our product portfolio. Our
institutional customers now have the opportunity to manage their foreign
exchange holdings independently and on a day-to-day basis using our Baader
FX-Trader platform solution,' said Nico Baader, member of the Board of
Directors of Baader Bank for Customers and Products, the department
responsible for this innovation.
In this platform solution, Baader Bank is offering a significant advantage
over direct trading with a single counterparty. Several selected
counterparties are connected to Baader FX-Trader, electronically publishing
their bid and ask prices for currencies at all times. Baader will
consolidate this data flow for FX-Trader and thereby only show the best
buying and selling prices per currency pair on the platform for customers
like asset managers. 'This narrows the bid-ask range for customers and
leads per se to better execution prices,' continued Nico Baader.
In light of the increase in trading in derivatives, equities, bonds and
ETFs on international stock exchanges, the requirements of professional
solutions are rising all the time. Institutional traders today are less
concerned with fast execution times on these exchanges and more interested
in being able to hedge currency risks promptly. 'Now we are giving
customers a simple and efficient solution for doing this. With Baader
FX-Trader we have an in-house, user-friendly trading platform that allows
customers to easily organise their currency transactions,' said Andreas
Schindler, Commission Trade Manager at Baader Bank.
