AUTEV AG takes a shareholding of 35% in powerLEDs Handelgesellschaft mbH
Brandenburg an der Havel, October 4th, 2010 - The AUTEV AG announces the
successful completion of the negotiation of a 35 % shareholding in
PowerLEDs Handelsgesellschaft mbH through a capital increase in order to
finance its expansion. CEO Uwe Maiberg and Tim David, member of the
executive board and Head of Division Lighting, are extremely delighted
about the agreement. They expect immense cross-selling potential and
competitive edges with regard to the realization of projects through the
extension of the service and product portfolio. As both companies
complement each other ideally, the potential synergy is enormous. Both
directors consider the deal to be a consequent expansion of their services,
especially in the area of interior lighting.
In this field, powerLEDs Handelgesellschaft mbh has established an
excellent reputation over the past few years. Various, high-quality
products enable the realization of tailor-made solutions for clients. In
contrast, the innovation award-winning street lamp AuLED complements the
area of exterior lighting perfectly. As a result both companies provide a
much broader service portfolio and increase their market penetration
potential. The new shareholding has resulted in the target group being
significantly enlarged, as well as providing for a continuing expansion in
the product portfolio's development.
PowerLEDs Handelsgesellschaft mbH, founded 2009 and located in Frankfurt am
