Wicked Tale
"It's the strangest World"
(firmenpresse) - People are conditioned to worship rationality and self-interest, however, we are nothing more than replaceable components in the system.
Flashing equipment serve us to manifest a personal significance in life, while we dwell on the illusion to carry out individual deeds.
The meltdown in the engine room has already completed our spiritual decay. What remains is the cartoon, the automated structure, the pseudo-ego. Throughout the deformation the “waste” including feelings and emotions is filtered out and disposed at the expense of humanity.

Here is where the broken ones come together,
the derailed and wounded and those who mourn,
the lost in existence, bewildered of life's antics,
those who fell off the sidelines, frayed spirits
truthful in their emotions, every now and then
somebody that's happy without intervention.
If a sign of nearness escapes amid fleeting
gestures or a look gets through the centrifuge
of dark thoughts, if a sincere tone resonates
among rude words – only then the essential is
recognizable.
Yet I do not belong among this souls and do not
rest with a bottle of beer in my hand, too many
empty phrases that lead nowhere, words produce
eddy just for the voices sake.
Only if the mirrored surfaces are broken, if we
gain spaces by ignoring the appearances we seem
genuine in our hopelessness.

Unternehmensinformation / Kurzprofil:
We, at BRIGHTON PUBLISHING, have set ourselves the task of publishing books and movies which are probably less well-known to large publishing companies or to the general public.
We place great importance on our selection of authors, directors and their masterpieces. We do not offer books or movies which you can find readily at every corner of conventional bookstores. Rather, we offer a selective collection of art whose value lies in their uniqueness and in our opinion- speaks for themselves. We are convinced that a book or a film enriches one’s life if it offers great reading or viewing pleasure to its audience and is priceless when it helps to see the world in a different light. Brighton Publishing is always searching and offering works of originality and novelty.
