Muehlhan AG publishes Annual Report 2010
* Preliminary figures affirmed
* Executive Board expects return to profitability in 2011
Hamburg, 31 March 2011- With the publication today of its 2010 Annual
Report, Muehlhan AG (Entry Standard; ISIN DE000A0KD0F7) affirmed its
preliminary figures for 2010. On 3 March, Muehlhan reported sales revenues
of EUR 165.0 million (2009: EUR 190.8 million), EBIT of EUR -2.5 million
(2009 EBIT: EUR 8.4 million) and a consolidated net loss of EUR -4.4
million (2009 consolidated net income: EUR 3.9 million).

The Executive Board expects a significant recovery in performance in fiscal
year 2011. However, the negative impact on business from the final stage of
the financial and economic crisis will probably be felt through 2012.
Nevertheless, earnings should not be affected as they were in 2010. Given
our current circumstances, the Executive Board therefore forecasts sales
revenues of EUR 150 to 175 million and EBIT of between EUR 4 and 7 million.
Hence, consolidated net income should be in the range of EUR 1 to 4
million, restoring the Muehlhan Group to profitability this year.
